Dr. Harlan Browning brings over ten years of clinical and research experience to the American Academies of Sports Practitioners practicing in both chiropractic and clinical nutrition. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences and is completing a Master of Science degree in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. He earned his bachelor of science in business administration from Auburn University.
He holds advanced standing as a Diplomate of Applied Kinesiology (DIBAK) from the International College of Applied Kinesiology as well as a Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology (DCBCN) from the College Board of Chiropractic Neurology. In addition to these achievements, Dr. Browning has been awarded fellowship status by both the College Board of Chiropractic Neurology and the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Browning also holds certifications in clinical nutrition (CCN) from the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board, Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and acupuncture from the National University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Browning is currently in private practice in northern Virginia specializing in sports medicine and movement disorders. He brings a comprehensive approach to patient treatment utilizing a skill set he developed working in rehabilitative medicine and as a strength and conditioning coach at the high school and college level. Dr. Browning has written numerous articles on Neuroanatomy, Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, and Clinical Nutrition, as well as presenting lectures to a broad spectrum of medical professionals.
Dr. Michael Gorman is a licensed Chiropractic Physician who owns Gorman Optimal Health Solutions, Inc. in Fairless Hills, PA. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He did his undergraduate study in psychology at Shippensburg University, and in sports medicine at West Chester University. Before attending Chiropractic College, Dr. Gorman worked in physical therapy and sports medicine at Holy Redeemer Hospital and in Villanova University’s Sports Medicine Department. While at Villanova, he worked with all the teams, but primarily focused and traveled with the football, cross country and track teams.
Furthermore, Dr. Gorman has also taken a multitude of additional post-graduate coursework including extensive hours of Neurology, Acupuncture, Clinical Nutrition, Sports medicine, Psychology, and various energy medicine techniques. In addition to Applied Kinesiology, he also holds certifications in Acupuncture and Meridian Therapy, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Athletic Training (ATC), and Strength and Conditioning (CSCS).
Blending the best of both traditional and alternative perspectives into his current practice, Dr. Gorman utilizes all traditional diagnostic measures such as X-ray, MRI, blood, urine, hair, and saliva laboratory testing to aid in the assessment of various injuries and conditions.
Aside from his private practice, Dr. Gorman currently works at the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential, where he helps evaluate and treat brain-injured children through the use of biofeedback and Applied Kinesiology. He is also a graduate of the Bucks County Leadership program and Landmark Education’s “Curriculum for Living”. He takes great pride in the importance of educating his patients on a daily basis, as well as the public through his many speaking engagements. He has lectured at Thomas Jefferson University’s School of Integrative Medicine, Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society, various Athletic Training schools, and Physical Therapy centers in the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Anthony Borrelli has been practicing and performing Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery of the foot and ankle for the past 27 years in and around the Chicago land area.
After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Francis University in 1978, Dr. Borrelli completed his Doctoral studies in Podiatric Medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982. After 4 years of post graduate training, in 1986 he became an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio.
Returning to practice in the Chicago land area, Dr Borrelli currently is a member of and has maintained office locations with the Weil Foot and Ankle Institute, the leading provider of Foot and Ankle Health Care in Chicago land.
Dr. Borrelli has continued to be a leader in Podiatric Education by having an affiliation with the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine. He is actively involved with training Students, Residents and Fellows in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Borrelli has lectured Nationally and Internationally, is the author of over 14 published articles as well as a published chapter of a medical textbook on subjects related to Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Borrelli is currently double board certified in both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Podiatric Medicine.
John Malinowski brings over ten years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and continues to work on his Master’s degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University.
John has an extensive variety of experiences as an athletic trainer, having worked at the high school, collegiate, and professional sports levels. John served as an Athletic training volunteer at 2004 Olympic qualifying tournaments for Tai Kwon Do and Judo in San Jose, California. John has presented at the Far West Athletic Trainers Symposium.
In the realm of personal training, John has developed his own personal training company called Living Healthy, which has been in operation since 2006. This venue, as well as various health clubs, afforded John the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from high school students through senior citizens, including professional athletes and individuals with physical disabilities. John has also taught a number of fitness classes such as Boot Camp, Cycling, and Core strengthening and just recently coordinated and facilitated a Speed and Agility Camp for youth in his local area.
Jeb Burns has worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for over 12 years. Mr. Burns obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at California State University, Sacramento and his Master of Arts in Kinesiology at San Jose State University.
Over the past 11 years, Jeb Burns has worked with athletes of varying ages including the high school, collegiate and professional level. He served as the Head Football Athletic Trainer for San Jose State University from 2001-2007. Mr. Burns has also volunteered and traveled internationally with the U.S. Judo Olympic team. One accomplishment Mr. Burn’s is quite proud of, was utilizing his advanced skills to assist in the return to the field of a NCAA Division I Football athlete with a lower leg prosthesis.
Jeb Burns currently helps direct a physical therapy clinic, Silicon Valley Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation, in Campbell, California. The physical therapy clinic is an outpatient clinic that specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to the spine and extremities.
