This site is owned and operated by American Academies of Sports Practitioners (referred to as www.sportspractioners.org, “AASP,” “we,” “us,” or “our” herein). No material from www.sportspractitioners.org or any Web site owned, operated, licensed, or controlled by AASP may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of AASP's copyright and other proprietary rights. For purposes of these terms, the use of any such material on any other Web site or networked computer environment is prohibited. You acknowledge and agree that AASP owns all databases, compilation, collective and similar rights, title and interests worldwide in our proprietary information databases, and all information and derivative works generated from those databases. You specifically agree that you will not harvest personal information about AASP members, including phone numbers and email addresses, to be used for any purpose other than that for which the information was explicitly provided. You will not use any information obtained from this site to solicit AASP members for any purpose.

JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES
Unless otherwise specified, the materials in the site are presented solely for the purpose of promoting programs and other products available in the United States and its territories, possessions, and protectorates. This site is controlled and operated by AASP from its offices within the State of Illinois, United States of America. AASP makes no representation that materials in the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT
The American Academies of Sports Practitioners, LLC accepts Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card as forms of payments for their services rendered.


TERMINATION
These terms are effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate these terms at any time by destroying all materials obtained from any and all AASP site(s) and all related documentation and all copies and installations thereof, whether made under the terms of these terms or otherwise. These terms will terminate immediately without notice from AASP if in the AASP’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of these terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials obtained from this site and any and all other AASP site(s) and all copies thereof, whether made under the terms of these terms or otherwise.

CANCELLATION
Members may cancel their membership within 14 business days from the date of registration by notifying the AASP in writing at American Academies of Sports Practitioners LLC, 358 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale, IL, 60108, calling the AASP at 888.584.6063 or 630.398.4773, sending a fax attention AASP Customer Service to 630.822.1466 or emailing the AASP at contact@sportspractitioners.org. Lifetime members have 30 business days from the registration date to cancel their membership. No refund of membership fee will be made to any member until ALL AASP materials received by the member, including but not limited to, Certificate of Membership, are returned to the AASP via a confirmed and verified delivery method. No refund for membership fees shall be given at any time after the aforementioned time period.

You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
What information does the American Academies of Sports Practitioners (AASP) collect from its members and web site visitors (www.sportspractitioners.org) and how is it used? AASP collects personal identifying information such as your name or email address when you apply for membership, register for a meeting or program, or fill out a survey, and when you complete subscription registration for sites or services requiring such information. AASP also collects contact and billing information including credit card number and expiration date from visitors who wish to pay for membership, program or meeting registration, or merchandise. All Web-based transactions requiring a credit card number take place through a secured, encrypted connection. AASP may use the information in the aggregate for marketing and promotional purposes. AASP may share personal identifying and contact information with its affiliates. AASP never shares phone numbers or email addresses with any unaffiliated third party. AASP may log web site visitors’ IP addresses for the collection of aggregate information about site visitors and their interests. AASP does not link these IP addresses to personal identifying information such as a visitor’s name and/or e-mail address. What are cookies and how are they used? AASP may place a “cookie” on the visitor’s hard drive in order to facilitate a user-friendly experience. Cookies are small files that contain information a Web site uses for tracking purposes. AASP uses the cookie information it receives to improve the efficiency of customer service, allowing registered users to easily log in and complete transactions. AASP also uses cookies to allow members access to members-only areas of the web site and to temporarily store information about items that users have placed in a shopping cart. Does the AASP share the information it collects with others? AASP does offer member mailing lists to reputable companies who offer potentially useful, industry related, material and services for AASP members. All materials are subjected to a strict screening process. Email addresses and phone numbers may be provided to selected affiliates with whom AASP has a mutual marketing agreement. Under no circumstances are email lists made available to known spammers, get-rich-quick sites, or pornographic sites. Opt-in/Opt-out: AASP provides opportunities for members and web site visitors to opt-in to receive newsletters and updates. If a member or web site visitor wishes to subscribe to one of these services, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. Members and web site visitors can opt-out of these services at any time by contacting AASP at sportspractitioners.org or by phone at (630) 464-5989 . Members and web site visitors can also opt-out by following the instructions included in each email. How can I make changes to my personal information? Members of the association can update their personal information by clicking on the link at sportspractitioners.org. For all other changes, please contact AASP at email@sportspractitioners.org. What else should you know about your privacy? Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online such as a user name or e-mail address in a chat or bulletin board area, for example you should be aware that the information provided can be collected and used by others. In addition, the AASP sites contain links to other sites not owned or operated AASP. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these sites. In some cases users may link or are referred to third party sites from AASP. User information collected on these third party sites may be shared with AASP in aggregate form for internal tracking purposes and is not linked to any personal information. What security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information? All Web-based transactions requiring a credit card number take place through a secured, encrypted connection. Member data such as contact information, email address and full name are stored in a database that is accessible only to staff members on-site. What about children? Children 18 years of age or under should not submit any information to AASP without their parent’s or guardian’s consent. AASP does not monitor the age of its audience.
